Over the past decade, Pacolet has made substantial investments in its renewable energy activities, including its solar and landfill gas projects. It also has substantial hydro-electric investments through its Lockhart Power subsidiary. (See link to Lockhart Power above under Power & Infrastructure.)
Greenways & Blueways
Pacolet supports multiple greenway trail initiatives including Spartanburg’s “The Dan,” The Palmetto Conservation Foundation’s “Palmetto Trail,” the “Green Crescent Trail” in Clemson, SC, and “The Thread Trail” in LaGrange, GA. All of Pacolet’s mixed-use development projects contain sidewalls and trails that connect to one of these regions trail networks.
