Enriching Our Culture Through Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
The intent of Pacolet’s DEI effort is to embrace and promote all aspects of diversity including race, gender, physical abilities, age, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, and education. We also expect this effort to help achieve a work environment in which all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, feel a sense of belonging, and have equal access to opportunities and resources. That intent is reinforced in Pacolet’s mission statement and in our DEI Statement.
DEI Statement
At Pacolet, we embrace Diversity, Equity & Inclusion because it’s the right thing to do. Diversity also makes our family of companies better, and equitable access to opportunities and fair treatment for all allows our employees to thrive.
As we pursue continuous improvement and maximum performance, we will create an inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging and collaboration amongst all of our associates.
Pacolet’s integrating of DEI into our culture will strengthen our family of companies, our employees, and the communities we serve.
Pacolet IMPACT Councils
Creating a positive, productive culture is dependent upon an inclusive workplace that fosters a sense of fairness, belonging and collaboration among all associates. We recognize and embrace the role that DEI and culture play in employee and company performance, employee engagement, honest and ethical behavior, environmental and community sustainability, and health, wellness, and safety. We embrace the actions necessary to help maximize our gains in these areas.
IMPACT Councils at Pacolet and its operating subsidiaries engage fellow employees to generate ideas, be a sounding board and resource for employees and senior management and to lead action planning for culture surveys. Councils at each location are made up of a diverse group of associates from across all divisions and levels within the organization. Each letter of IMPACT personifies a specific goal or purpose allowing councils to have a consistent vision and clear objectives.
